Two of my favorite people–Roxanne Alvarez and Baylen Linnekin–are having a kind of anti-anniversary tomorrow night at Madam’s Organ in DC. R&B have been happily unmarried for 15 years, and if you ask them why they have not sought state sanction they will set wild, unmarried dogs on you. Their party will double as a fundraiser for the most excellent Alternatives to Marriage Project, so people should go support them. My “spouse” and I have been happily unmarried for 18 years now. We totally agree with the setting of wild dogs on people that ask why.
Just to prevent and accidental injuries to wild, unmarried dogs, the main reason is it is nobody’s business why. Including an intrusive government.
