George Bernard Shaw says patriotism is the conviction that your country is superior to all other countries because you were born in it. This is correct. I only bring this up to distinguish patriotism from Winstonism. By purely objective and universal standards of puppyhood, Winston is the cutest puppy ever to have existed. I realized this yesterday when he was hiccuping.

Wrong. The cutest puppy in the world is any puppy that my 2 year-old nephew is playing with.
My 2 year-old nephew is, objectively, the cutest little boy in the world.

I’m sorry, my 7 month old puppy is the cutest that has ever existed. I have been told this by random strangers who have succumbed to his cuteness and subsequently melted.

If you have Winston neutered, please ask the veterinary surgeon about minimizing the risk of anesthesia awareness.
