My sisters and I recently did a public service announcement about the country of Burma’s struggle for freedom. Their Nobel Peace Prize winner Aung San Suu Kyi is imprisoned right now and has endured torture.
It’s an incredible story and I’m honored to have helped raise awareness about Burma’s plight. Over all it was a really fun and eye-opening experience!
We filmed the commercial at our store Dash. They wanted to show us in our natural enviorment (sic) yet still learning and spreading the word!

I’m annoyed by that site’s condescending attitude towards Kardashian. It’s cheap to make bimbo jokes at her expense just because she’s somewhat inarticulate on topics like the political situation in Burma. Hiss! Boo!
Frankly, I prefer the Kardashian spelling of “enviorment” to the dictionary-approved “environment.”
It’s onomatopoeic!

The Kardashians can connect with a certain demographic that others can’t. You never know who they have reached, and what ripple of good they have created with their PSA, typos notwithstanding.
