The anti-immigration group NumbersUSA has a handy chart assessing the presidential candidates from the perspective of a crazy person. It works quite well if you substitute “humane” for “abysmal” and “tribalistic protectionist” for “EXCELLENT.” Since no viable Republican candidate has anything like a history of opposing immigration, the chart turns out to be a measure of willingness to endorse some terrible ideas that these candidates, given their histories and previous statements on the subject, know are terrible. This, to please a small but vocal minority with ideas that would be bad for the less riled majority.
I don’t know why I’m surprised and a little sad that Mike Huckabee emerges top panderer. Here’s a guy who responds to questions about the death penalty by explaining that putting people to death was the hardest part of his job as a Christian governor and then bragging that he offed more criminals than any of his predecessors.

The chart also makes a nice organizational tool for those who have trouble keeping their hate-priorities straight.
